Seoul – 26 March 2025 – Microsoft highlights key AI innovation cases driving the growth of future industries, taking a significant step toward accelerating AI transformation in Korea.
The showcase was made at Microsoft AI Tour in Seoul, held at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul. The event brought together IT industry leaders, experts, and partners to explore responsible AI development and deployment, sharing insights on strategies for adopting trustworthy AI.
At the event, Microsoft unveiled two new deep reasoning agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot, the first-ever global debut, taking place in Korea. Deep reasoning enables AI to analyze complex data located across work and web, integrate diverse contexts, and support advanced problem-solving.
Researcher combines OpenAI’s o3 deep research model with Copilot’s advanced orchestration and deep search capabilities, performing complex analyses like new market strategy and customer review for a quarterly meeting. Analyst is powered by a state-of-the-art reasoning model to perform chain-of-thought reasoning by examining dispersed data to identify trends and generate key business insights, for instance, forecasting demand for a new product, uncovering customer purchasing patterns, or identifying trends in financial data.
These newly introduced AI agents will start rolling out to customers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license in April as “Frontier program” – a new program that gives customers early access to new Copilot innovations while they are still in development.
Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella, who visited Korea for the event, engaged with business leaders to discuss the future of AI and its applications across industries. He reaffirmed Microsoft’s commitment to fostering innovation and growth in Korea by expanding technological collaboration and support.
