Did it work in .NET Framework?

Yes

Did it work in any of the earlier releases of .NET Core or .NET 5+?

The issue caused by the #12996.
All controls can be deleted except the DataGridView control(knwon issue: 10931) when running the DemoConsole application on .NET

Issue description

The controls are cannot be deleted under 'TabControl and TableLayoutPanel' tab by using delete keyboard or Delete item under Edit menu when running the DemoConsole application on net481

Test the sample app: DemoConsole in Ricardo WinForms Repo Issue_12830_Multi-Target_DemoConsole branch

Investigate if this is something that we can fix in the test app. If this is caused by different DPI awareness support between the .NET and .NET Framework, then we can't fix it.
