Install Step

  1. Clean machine: Debian 11 "Bullseye"
  2. Install .NET 10.0 Preview 4 tar.gz package

To Reproduce

  1. After installing .NET 10.0 Preview 4, run dotnet --info to check the SDK, Runtime, and Templates.
  2. Double check the dotnet folder if the SDK, Runtime, and Templates are present.

Exceptions (if any)

After installing tar.gz package, the command line dotnet--info does not display sdk/runtime. But dotnet folder contains SDK/Runtime/Templates info.

Note

  1. Not repro in Ubuntu OS
  2. Not repro on a regular build.

When we encounter this problem, we cannot create a project.
