I am not sure if I am the only one with the following bug:
If i try to comment code via ctrl + / it does comment the code and instantly hit / too. So if i undo the change via ctrl + z once I can see my commented code. I know that this worked before (possibly occured in 1.6.11 or 1.6.12)

This only works with US/UK keyboard layout (but this is another bug: #5064 )

This might be related to the weird handling of the ctrl+/ shortcut in Rsyntaxtextarea, which is due to issues with non-US keyboard layouts. I can't recall details, but I think I described some of the weirdness (and a possible improvement) in bobbylight/RSyntaxTextArea#157

Perhaps that issue helps you understand what is happening?
