38400 Baud for serial monitor

Please add 38400 Baud to serial monitor or make baud rate freely configurable. I'm on the way to make plain nRF51 chips usable with arduino. Flashing is done by SEGGER JLINK adapters. There are Boards provided by Nordic SDK which using a serial emulation via JLINK Adapter. They have an fixed baud rate at 38400.

My question was not how i can connect to my board. I know how i can do it without Arduino IDE.

My question was to add the cabability to Arduino IDE connect via 38400 baud or another baud rate to make it more user friendly.

Please explain why adding a new baud rate is no option? 38400 is supported by Arduino Serial Class. Google reports around 38000 hits to "arduino 38400 baud". I am not the only one using 38400 baud.
