Your organization may already have multiple ADX dashboards that are used frequently to analyze and visualize critical data. Now, you can easily bring those dashboards into Microsoft Fabric, a more powerful ecosystem without relocating your data.

How to create Real-Time Dashboards from ADX Dashboards

Here’s how you can recreate your ADX dashboards as Real-Time Dashboards in Fabric in just a few simple steps:

  1. Export your ADX dashboard 
    • Use the file menu to export a dashboard to a JSON file (in the dashboard, select the Manage tab --> Export to file.)
  2. Create a new Real-Time Dashboard in Fabric
    • Browse to the desired workspace.
    • Select +New --> Real-Time Dashboard
    • Enter a dashboard name and select Create.
  3. Import your dashboard into Fabric
    • In the dashboard, select the Manage tab --> Replace with file.
    • Select the file to update the dashboard.
    • Select Save.
