A current limitation in Power BI SWITCH measures (and all Power Pivot actually) is that a SWITCH measure must have a single format. It is currently not possible to conditionally format the measure result based on any criteria - it is one single format only. There are valid use cases where you may want to change the format of the SWITCH measure depending on the result. Consider the following SWITCH statement myMeasure = SUMX(MeasureTable,switch([selected measure], 1,[Total Sales], 2,[Total Cost], 3,[Total Margin], 4,[Chg Sales vs LY %] )) The first 3 results are all currency format, but the last result is a percentage format. Currently when using SQLDB if we enter the server name / dns into SSMS or another tool it will fail as the connection defaults to master and the yser has no rights. The new feature Export to PDF appears to be just a screen capture of each report - whatever is currently being shown on the screen is what is captured in the pdf. Description: We are currently facing challenges with monitoring our Power BI instances due to the absence of the memory consumption metric in the capacity metrics app. The current CU consumption metric does not provide a complete picture, leading to gaps in monitoring and difficulties in identifying issues with our Power BI reports. Problem Statement: Previously, the capacity metrics app provided insights into memory consumption, which allowed us to effectively monitor and manage our Power BI instances. However, with the removal of this metric, we are now unable to fully understand the behavior of our instances based solely on CU consumption. This has resulted in a lack of comprehensive monitoring and has impacted our ability to address performance issues promptly. I have being using F SKU for personal development and a side project using my personal credit card, and I feel strongly an option to suspend the capacity is very important to have a pleasant experience, I notice, whenever I work with Fabric, I always have a worry that I forget to turn it off, I am not suggesting here an auto suspend and resume with a minimum 1 minute. but an option just to suspend the capacity in 2 hours or 3 hours or something like that. I think it will make the experience more joyful. I know you can write script to do that, but Fabric is sold as a SAAS, and it is not fair to expect an average user to become an expert in Azure resource management.
