Epic idea: Advanced primary axis

The primary axis are outdated and require significant improvement when compared to Excel. This makes it difficult for report creators and often leads to problems when trying to manage and style them effectively. By offering more format settings, greater control over displayed data can be provided, especially if axis ticks, new gridlines, and separators are also included.

This is very important and basic functionality that absolutely needs to be added. This is very simple to do in MS Graph / ppt / xls. How could this possibly be overlooked in BI????

Hi, now there is start and end values option to set in y-axis for line chart, if we have an option to set interval in chart it would be great and its very useful, most requirements are so.. will it come for next release??!! thanx..

I would really like to be able to customise the intervals on the Y axis to 1 million intervals but currently cant seem to achieve this Also my graph is displaying negative values so would like to see the x axis at the top but it seems the default is always at the bottom, is this achievable or can it be made so?

In a stabled area chart, the y axis automatically adjust when I alter the graph/Box size vertical, but the x-axis does not adjust when adjusting horizontal. Important feature if our organization should start using Power BI to publish reports to web.

Come on Microsoft! How could you design a column chart display that doesn't give the option to set the intervals? Should we all go back to using Excel?

This would be useful for cases where the data points very close, within 10^-10 of each other, but the auto axis spreads the data out to fit the entire plot. It gives the illusion that the data is very spread out when it's all really close.
