What about protecting the web page itself, using OAuth or AD login? User must logi to access the web page that contains the viualisations. Would that work?
And what about the parameters? Does it allow us to pass parameters/filters to the embedded report? I have a report sample covering all my sales offices, but need to restrict access by user... user that has access to only one sales office must see only data from its sales office, and not all. The sales office number is in the browser session after the user login. Does anyone know if it's possible to do that?
I love the look of web publish and easy sharing, but I would prefer the same look and process but kept in private mode. I want to do this same process but have data not published publicly and load the link on our SharePoint intranet for our internal constituents. Is this feasible?!?! I don't want our data consumers to have to log into PowerBI and I want to keep the look of the report simple. Is this feature in the works?
If you already have Power BI in your organization, you can share PowerBI reports securely using our tool IntelliFront BI which allows you to designate exactly who can have access to which report. Check it out at http://intellifront.com
Hi, First I would like to congratulate microsoft for developing such a powerful, useful and versatile tool, allowing to consume our time on real data analysis. It is very common for businesses to consume part of their time on building analytical data models instead of consuming the same time analyzing the data. As any analyst, I need to communicate data analysis for thata i developed a simple webpage with private access to the users of the data analysis. Just not yet put the Power BI on the website (iframe)because there is no private form to do it. I ask for when Microsoft will provided a solution to this problem? and, if it is possible to introduce the same in a simple acquisition package without going through Azure? Thank you very much
