Currently in Power BI, when using a date slicer with the "Between" option, there is no built-in way to dynamically set the @Default selected range (e.g., from the start to the end of the current month) while still allowing users to explore historical data.
Using Relative Date filters does default to the current month, but it restricts the date range — hiding all past or future dates, which is not ideal when users need the flexibility to explore data across different time periods.
There is no native option to: Automatically pre-select current month dates in a slicer (e.g., 1st April to 30th April) And automatically updating this selection as the calendar month changes.
