Old Arduino IDE has a burn bootloader menu item. This is very useful, however once in a while I would just like to burn a compiled sketch from .bin, .elf, or .hex format.
It would be helpful if this was an easy menu step for the new IDE? Like importing a library .zip file you would just import the location of your binary file and the IDE would install it on your device.
